Truth Victorious

From the beginning, the attempts of error to down Truth have resulted in error being Truth's greatest helper. Error beheaded John the Baptist, and Jesus came. (Mark, 1: 14.) Error crucified Jesus, and behold, "The risen Christ." Ignorance or mortal mind knowledge questioned faith, and seemingly annihilated it, when lo! Christian Science came with understanding which cannot be downed, but proves itself to be the Holy Comforter that shall abide forever.

Truth crushed to earth shall rise again;
The eternal years of God are hers;
But error, wounded, writhes with pain,
And dies among his worshipers.
