Questions and Answers
If God is omnipotent, do you not limit Him when you say He can create nothing unlike Himself?
J. H., A Searcher for Truth.
God is more than an omnipotent deity; He is Omnipotence itself, i.e., the All and Only Power. A very prevalent thought of God is that of a person possessing power sufficient to perform any act He may elect, no matter what the character of that act may be. Thus it is believed that God can and does send evil upon man whenever in His wisdom it seems just for Him to do so.
