The Field and Our Publications

At the beginning of a new volume of the Sentinel it is noteworthy that the great body of Scientifically working Christians are evidently appreciative of its weekly and monthly literature, otherwise the manifestation of the completeness of each would not be demonstrated. The Field has ceased to consider as best one number more than another, but has recognized that all are demonstrations up to the striking-hour of Truth's appearing. As we see more work demanded and executed at headquarters, there comes a great desire to all to do more for the encouragement of those who toil from the first hour to the twelfth, knowing that the reward is alike to all, even though it be an eleventh hour awakening to duty.

And with this awakening there is the incentive to participate in the burden-bearing. Not necessarily in direct contribution to the literary larder, but in promptness in forwarding matter of interest to the Field, and in demonstrating events that will express the expansion of the Cause, and thus testify our appreciation for our Leader's love in widening channels of communication to her "worldpatient." With the desires "moulded and exalted," we shall have them take "form in word and deed" (Science and Health, p. 307).
