Concord Celebrates
Triumph of Old Home Week in New Hampshire.
New Hampshire's Old Home Week was appropriately observed throughout the state. Thursday, August 31, was Concord's great day, and was the crowning glory of the week. Addresses of welcome were made in behalf of the city by Mayor Nathaniel E. Martin, and in behalf of the state by Governor Frank W. Rollins.
The oration of the day was by Hon. James O. Lyford, naval officer of the port of Boston.
He spoke as follows:—
