Reading Room at Washington, D. C.
First Church of Christ, Scientist , Washington, D. C., has opened an elegant Reading Room in a fine central location in this city. The Rooms are 9 and 10 McLean Building, entrance 1517 H St., N. W., open from 10 A. M. to 5 P. M., Sundays excepted. On the walls are fine pictures of the Mother Church, and Pleasant View, the home of Rev. Mary Baker G. Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science and author of its text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures." There is also a picture of Christ in the Temple, and several very appropriate mottoes; among them Mrs. Eddy's favorite text, Exodus, 20:3; also Philippians, II: 5, John, 8: 32; Ephesians, 4: 29; Romans, 15: 6. All the standard literature on Christian Science is kept on sale. All interested are cordially welcomed to the Christian Science Reading Room. We feel that a new era has opened up in our Church work in this city that will be a valuable aid in disseminating the Truth that is ushering in God's kingdom on Earth. E. B. L.
