Resolution
There is hope for the heart that can suffer, There is strength in the metal that's wrought, Though the hope and the tempered perfection, With vintage of sorrow are bought.
There is power in a deep resolving To live as our life began, And mirror the innocence of the child In the perfect life of the man.
There is peace in the mind that falters not, Knowing the one right way; That treads in the steps of Him whose strength Is the only perfect stay.
There is rest in the faith that admits no doubt, But o'ercomes temptation's wile. For the hope, and the power, and peace, and rest, Are the radiance of God's smile.
