Morphine Habit Cured

Last October I went to a Christian Scientist to be healed of the morphine habit of fifteen years standing. For three years I had morphine injected in my limbs daily, and sometimes several times a day. At times the skin about the joints would look green. I had no flesh, and was afflicted with a nervous movement of the head which prevented my attending church or going in company. I had also abscesses of the womb, paralyzed hips, and other ills. I have had as many as seven spasms in one afternoon. I received treatment about four weeks, when I was entirely healed and have had no desire for morphine, nor have I taken any since. The jerking was destroyed with the habit. My husband says a miracle was performed. I am a living witness to what Christian Science can do for those who are under such abject slavery to morphine as I was.
