Glasses Laid Aside
For many years I was a great sufferer with chronic inflammation of the eyes. I wore glasses, used all kinds of remedies, and consulted specialists in different cities, but found no relief. One oculist to whom I applied told me that the nerves of my eyes were nearly destroyed. It seemed as though I should be blind. I tried to be reconciled, but could not see why I was so afficted. About this time a Christian Science healer came to Preston to see a patient. I called to see her. She assured me that with "God all things are possible," and advised me to procure Science and Health and to read it faithfully. She said others had been healed why should I not be? At my request she gave me a treatment. I was at once enabled to lay aside my glasses, and in a short time I could read the finest print, sew, or do any kind of work without them either night or day. — Rowena McNeil, Preston, Ia.
