Euthanasia
It is not strange that there should be a public outcry against the practice of enthanasia by physicians. The extent to which it has been and is being practised becomes appalling in face of the fact that thousands of cases which, according to the pronouncement of physicians, were absolutely hopeless, have been brought out through Christian Science.
Is it not time the people were crying out in their own behalf for protection against the methods of a profession which, however conscientiously carried on, are wholly unjustifiable?
Let the people sincerely ponder this question, and if the medical profession continue to appear before our legislative bodies seeking the protection of the law on its behalf, thevox populi may well be heard for or against the system which practises or even impliedly assents to the "quiet putting away" of sick people on the plea that there is no hope for them.
