While
supporting the necessary preparations which are under way for protecting our cities against enemy invasion, the Christian Scientist knows that he must develop those spiritual qualities which will truly fortify him in time of stress.
Our
work in Christian Science is done not through an effort to reach up to God or through a straining toward Him past some real obstruction, but through turning thought away from the material illusion to ever-present Spirit, the source of every true thought.
In
the first chapter of Genesis we are told that "God created man in his own image;" and in the opening words of the succeeding chapter it is stated, "Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
