Learning more about healing—at camp
Last summer, while I was working with horses in the corral at camp, it seemed like none of the wranglers were feeling well. I was struggling with similar symptoms, and it was very uncomfortable to talk.
I decided to pray the way I’d learned to in Christian Science Sunday School and to call a Christian Science practitioner to pray for me. She shared with me the helpful idea that Truth—meaning God—is the only communicator. Truth is communicating to me what is true about me throughout each day. And this direct communication from Truth is there for everyone. This was particularly helpful in reframing things I was hearing from other people at the corral. I knew that only Truth’s messages have any validity.
I realized that God, Truth, is communicating to me what is true about me throughout each day.
