Healing mental illness, depression, and anxiety

Live audio chat with Diane Dailey, C.S.B.

Site visitors brought both questions and experiences to this lively chat.  Among the concerns they asked about were: panic attacks, depression and anxiety, Alzheimer's and dementia, fears that something bad will happen, fear of noises in the night, feelings of depression over an inability to find a loving relationship. Others asked about how to deal with relatives who have mental problems, whether or not they realize it, and also how to keep family relationships from being affected by depression and anxiety.

Diane doesn't take a simplistic approach.  She makes clear that healing can sometimes take persistent prayer, but that freedom from these troubles is possible. She explains spiritual truths that reveal everyone's spiritual nature and offers ways to pray about negative perceptions and concerns about mental challenges. Site visitors respond to these ideas by offering a number of examples of how they have been healed through their own prayers and reliance on Christian Science.
