Easter's promise: life made new

Live audio chat with Candace du Mars, C.S.B.

In her opening comments, Candace points out that Easter can truly be celebrated every day. She references the definition of resurrection given in Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy as  “spiritualization of thought. . .” (p. 593). Candace says “that spiritualization of thought is continuous, so every day can be an Easter. Every day we can be happy, joyful, and glad, and can be resurrected from any thoughts we might have that aren’t spiritual.”

Candace answers questions from listeners such as: To be a true follower of Jesus, must we suffer as he did and have a crucifixion experience? How can we be sure Jesus rose from the dead and ascended? Is literal resurrection from the dead possible today? How can the true message of Easter reach a world that is consumed with materialism and money? And when you feel that your life is on a treadmill or is stuck in a rut, how can you stop, change, and have a life made new?
