When thou canst say, and truly mean it,E'en though with bitter tearsAnd aching heart,"Thy will be done,"And look away from the materialInto the singing presence of thy God,Thou shalt find light and peace and plentyAnd rapture such as thou hast never dreamed,And the radiance of His unalterable beingWill illumine every simplest act of thine.

How wonderful, that God is here,That Life and Love are ever nearTo lift the mists of mortal sense,And bring to light Omnipotence!
