MY CONFIDENCE

I cannot fear nor disobeyOur Master's wise commandTo heal the sick and sinningAnd preach throughout the land.

Prepare a highway through the wilderness:Cast out the thorns, the rocks of stubborn will,And bridge with faith the deep and darkening shadows.

RECEPTIVITY

Lift up your eyes,Behold the bridegroom comes!It is the Christ, Truth, calling you.

BE STILL!

Be still!The frightened criesOf sense must hush beforeWe hear, in patient, thoughtful peace,God's voice.

THE BUILDERS

With toil and tears we built, with fret and fever;Throughout the weary night, the noontide heat,With frenzied flight ascending the tower skyward,Acclaimed the triumph of the counterfeit.

FEAR NOT, O LAND!

O land, rejoice; for you new joy shall rise,Welling from long-sealed fountains.

BROTHERHOOD

Give me, O Lord, to see my brother whole,Regarding not the color, caste, or creedWhich mortal thought in ignorance of SoulAscribes.
