In stating in today's Eastern Daily Press that a certain movement "is essentially an American mission, like Christian Science, Moody and Sankey, and other less successful transatlantic efforts at propagandism," your contributors loses sight of the fact that any "mission" which has as its motive the betterment of mankind can hardly be said to belong to any one country.
The
omnipresence of God means to the student of Christian Science the constant presence of good, which enables him to express assurance, steadfastness, and resourcefulness.
Christ Jesus
said, "I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly," and Christian Science shows how this more abundant life may be obtained.
How
many times does it seem that men, like the children of Israel, find themselves pursued by enemies! Hearts yearn for peace, but on all sides appear only strife, greed, and hatred.
