Happiness where you are

For many people happiness seems to be just another luxury they can't afford. Yet we can all have the joy Christ Jesus promised his followers.

Woman's place and the uses of prayer

Where does family fit in with our other commitments? Where do we fit in with family? Both questions call for a deeper understanding of God, who is the Father-Mother of all of us.
Spreading the gospel has much to do with the way we live our lives.
Do you ever feel that everybody else seems to be nicely settled but there's no room anywhere for you?

Compassion

This world doesn't have to be a cold place where nobody cares. Each of us can do something practical to bring back the warmth. We can be the good Samaritans; we can express more of the divine Love that Jesus lived — Love, which heals and saves.

Planting my peach tree

It was just one little old seed. But it grew with love!

More than a second opinion

When we need healing, we can rely on spiritual judgment—the judgment that says, "Thou art whole!"
In the Gospel of Mark, a pitiful man diseased with the scourge called leprosy meekly implored Christ Jesus to heal him.

I resolve ...

With the new year we promise ourselves we'll do better. Christian healing with its rebirth helps us to keep those promises.

What is God the Father of?

"Call no man your father upon the earth," said Christ Jesus. What does this command tell us of ourselves and of God, the one divine Mind?

The right job

It's easy to believe that our skill—or lack of it—can make or break our job progress. But spiritual qualities—the nature of God expressed in our lives—make an even greater difference at work.
