I was intrigued by Jesus' words "give to the poor." The practical demand was clear and unmistakable. But I also sought the deeper spiritual significance of this demand.
The thought came to me vividly and clearly that it is the divine Mind that I should be listening to, not the human mind. I felt so grateful that I had been alerted to this.
The standard for every student of Christian Science is nothing more—and nothing less— than to follow Christ Jesus' example in helping to free humanity from sin, sickness, and death.
