In the Christian Science Bible Lesson

The Sentinel is meant to be shared.

Taking sides

How do we know God's will? Through purity of heart.

David had a little dog called Piglet.

Roots and wings

To be most effective in helping our children develop roots and wings, we need to share with them, from the earliest age possible, the truth of their being as beloved children of God.

Being honest brings us into accord with divine power. Honesty can't ever be outmoded.

"I just don't accept that!"

It is the Christ that impels us to reject whatever is limiting, inharmonious, materialistic.

I have a friend I've known for over twenty years.

There are answers

When I was a schoolgirl, I once covered sheets of paper in figures in an attempt to work out correctly a mathematical problem according to the answer given in the back of the book.

Books that make a difference

I Like books a lot.

The Publishing Director of the Writings of Mary Baker Eddy, Carol Hohle, talks with the Sentinel about the September launch of an edition of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures designed especially for first-time readers.

The prayer that cannot be prayed too often

It was comforting to turn to our Father, the Father of everyone in the class. There was no competition for grades in this relationship, just love and support. I felt a real kinship with these other students.
