A perfect healing

It was the last day of my study abroad trip in Finland. I’d really been looking forward to it because we had the day off, and it was our last opportunity to explore Helsinki. But when I woke up that morning, I felt really tired and like I might be getting sick. I went to breakfast, but after eating, I felt even worse.

Later that morning, after I took a nap, I went down to the basement to change my laundry. Suddenly, I felt nauseated and threw up. It was scary because I was alone in the basement, and I felt so ill.

My parents are Christian Scientists, so I grew up going to Christian Science Sunday School and helping out at church. But it wasn’t until high school that I really made Christian Science my own. That was when I read the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, all the way through. I had healings through reading the book, and that really solidified my faith in Christian Science.
