I had a healing when I was snowboarding
I was snowboarding in Tahoe, a mountain area in California, when I fell and hurt my leg.
I was only about a quarter of the way down the mountain when I fell, and I couldn’t imagine how I’d get all the way down. My mom, who was skiing right behind me, noticed my struggle and stopped next to me.
I got up and tried to keep going, but it seemed hard. That’s when my mom started singing a hymn called “Mother’s Evening Prayer,” which was written by Mary Baker Eddy, who discovered Christian Science. I am familiar with the hymn because we’ve sung it in Christian Science Sunday School many times. It is meaningful to me because when I am not feeling well, my mom sings it to me.
