God’s messages guided and healed me
“The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty” (Psalms 29:4). Indeed it is. It can also be full of comfort, guidance, and even humor—as I’ve found out.
Some years ago, I needed to go grocery shopping on my way home from an appointment. Intending to stop at the store nearest my home, I headed in that direction. However, I heard “the voice of the Lord” telling me to turn around and go to another store.
I followed this instruction and was pleased to find a parking space close to the store’s front door. But God told me, “Nope. See that shopping cart at the other end of the lot? Go park there.” When I did, I saw why. In the cart was a wallet holding cash, credit cards, and more. I took it to the store manager, who contacted the owner and returned it to him.
