Thank you for the editorial in the June 29, 2020, Sentinel, “Can prayer protect us?” by Tony Lobl. I was moved by the author’s conviction of our true protection, “in which God’s supporting love is encircling and upholding us all.” Knowing this to be true and demonstrable, he also points out our responsibility to our neighbors. It’s so important to be loving toward all and respectful of and obedient to civil authorities, as we and our churches are an important part of our communities.
