‘Thou shalt have …’

“… no other gods before me.”*
My child, make this holy choice.
I have given you eyes
so you can see
and ears to hear My voice.

If you’re ever feeling
far away or lonely,
take a stand,
hold My hand,
know that I am here.
I am your Life,
your one and only,
so nothing can divide us.
Do not fear.

If pain or sorrow
occupies your hours,
take a stand,
hold My hand,
know that I am here.
I am Love,
the only power;
I fill all space,
so not a trace
of darkness can be near.
