Father=Mother
Our Father is Mother; unlimited by gender:
Not god and goddess, as the ancients strove
to balance love conditional on virtue
with love embracing all—condoning faults
still unforsaken. Principle is Love:
She does not wring Her hands at tragedy,
weeping helpless as evil seems to mar
the beauty of His gracious universe.
She stands as law: His gesture wipes out all
that justice cannot praise and goodness bless.
Father sets the tempo and the key;
Mother blends all tones in harmony;
Father-Mother frames the world in song.
