I have been meaning to send my thanks, first of all, for the current order of the Sentinels. In particular, I appreciate that “Items of Interest” has been moved toward the end of the magazine. I often opened a Sentinel looking for inspiration and I would skip over the “Items of Interest” or force myself to read it first so that it wouldn’t be forgotten. Now when I come to this column, I find that I am much more interested in reading it.
Second, I deeply appreciate JSH-Online.com. It is such a wonderful support for me in my busy life. It helps me keep up with the periodicals as I am able to access the website on my smart phone wherever I am. I am a busy mum of two small children, and now when those small breaks come, I can read an article or two, even if I only have one hand free! I love that I can search for past articles and bookmark my favorites.
Thank you to those who have worked so hard to offer this valuable resource and to those who contribute to the periodicals. I am so inspired by the variety of experience and insight that is expressed by the writers and also by the dedication and willingness of the JSH staff to provide resources that meet traditional and modern needs.
Enjoy 1 free Sentinel article or audio program each month, including content from 1898 to today.
