Forum of Bible Agencies of North America conference – a call to action
Indifference toward Scripture has gone far enough! That was the theme of the Forum of Bible Agencies of North America (FOBA) “Uncover the Word Summit” in Orlando, Florida, November 7–9, where several hundred church leaders from the United States and Canada gathered “to fan the flames of engagement with the Word of God,” as Forum Chair Robert L. Briggs promised in his invitation letter.
“And that’s exactly what happened,” said Mary Trammell, who represented the Board of Directors of The First Church of Christ, Scientist, at the meeting. “It was an unforgettably unifying, ‘let’s all work together’ moment for Christians of all backgrounds who love Scripture.”
