Letters
After hours of tossing and turning, unable to sleep, I roused myself and picked up the January 10 Sentinel [“Spiritual progress and healing”]. Imagine my surprise when I randomly opened to Carol McFall’s article, “Don’t look down . . . Look up!” Her opening paragraphs completely paralleled my own state of sleeplessness, and I had to chuckle.
As I read on, she described how she addressed the “cause” of that imposition by “focus[ing] on what is, and not on what isn’t.” In no time at all I had regained my peace and was able to return to bed and a restful night’s sleep.
I am extremely grateful for the Sentinel and have been reading it for many years, even “in secret” as a “rebellious” teen, when my parents thought I had absolutely no interest in Sunday School or Christian Science!
