How have you seen prayer combat depression?
Previously posted on spirituality.com | January 27, 2011
Read a few responses from site visitors:
Yes! I have seen prayer defeat depression. I was 12 years old and knew nothing about Christian Science because I was raised in another denomination. My mother had a deep crisis of faith in that religion, and became very sad because she was unsure if she were truly “saved” according to their teachings. Her sadness cast a shadow over our entire family. She was visited by the pastors of this other church but to no avail. She wept constantly.
