Healed of injuries after a car accident
When I was in college in the 1980s, I made plans with friends to attend a youth meeting in Boston hosted by The Mother Church. We were to meet at the Atlanta airport, and drive the 24 hours from there to Boston in a rented car. I drove to Atlanta by myself, in my old VW bug. At that time, seat belt laws were in their fledgling stages. But as I left home, I had a strong angel message to put on my seat belt, which I obeyed.
While I was driving through a suburban area on my way to Atlanta, my car was struck from behind, bounced into the car in front of me, and slammed from behind again. The impact threw me forcefully forward.
During the collision, the first thing that came to my thought was “the scientific statement of being” from page 468 of Science and Health. When I got to the part that says, “All is infinite Mind and its infinite manifestation, . . . ,” I truly felt and saw that this truth applied to me and everything around me. As a result, I never felt any pain, although my head had broken the windshield and my mouth had hit the steering wheel.
