Christmas star
By Bonny Barry Sanders
Shine out quiet star.Wordless guide of shepherdsand wise mento the far-offcherished site. The story retoldby word of mouth, recorded on scrolls, translated by monks, sung by carolers. It unwinds humbly like skeins of new-dyed yarn.Ring out quiet Truth, the very same message, not distanced byearth-count years, but oh, so near—ever here.In real substance grounded,in Life’s compass centered, with Love’s guidance, strong.
