ON THE ROAD TO HEALING

It would be a wonderful thing to solve the world's AIDS pandemic overnight. And the last thing the Sentinel would want to do is limit in any way the possibilities for immediate healing of this or any other disease.

At the same time, we've got to be grateful for what the Lord's Prayer calls "our daily bread." Each day countless individuals are doing all they can to bring help and hope to those who struggle with HIV/AIDS and to their loved ones. Through their thoughts and actions and desires for healing, they're praying in a spectrum of different ways. And they are making a monumental difference.

Margaret Rogers, who wrote the first article this week, says prayer to eliminate the great fear surrounding AIDS "continues to be work in progress." We can each join her in putting the accent in that statement on the progress! And if it is true that, as the Bible says, "perfect love" is what will cast out that fear (and we think it is!), then you'll find this issue full of ideas that set us on the road to healing.
