Home at Tumalo Falls

SOME YEARS AGO, our young family lived in the mountains of central Oregon at a beautiful place called Tumalo Falls. We were the caretakers of the water inlets for the city of Bend, Oregon. We loved where we were living. For the time, this seemed a wonderful solution to our need for housing, since the house was included, along with a small salary. The beauty of the countryside offered endless hours of exploration for our two growing daughters. And I finally had running water and electricity to help me with my chores, after having lived for more than eight years without them! Everything was great.

Through my spiritual study, I began to find that home is a practical result of the power of Love.
