ANKLE HEALED QUICKLY
Through my study of Christian Science and the application of its teachings to my everyday experiences, I've come to understand that life has a spiritual foundation and what we experience through the five senses doesn't give accurate information about our real, spiritual, identity.
This journey of discovering my true identity began when I was 19. After attending my first Christian Science church service, I knew I had found the God I wanted to believe in. As I began to regularly study this Science, I was saved from a life of drugs, smoking, and promiscuity, which had started in my adolescent years. Since then, I have had many more proofs of God's care. A recent quick healing stands out.
One Sunday, earlier this year, I was preparing to read the Bible Lesson-Sermon at my local Church of Christ, Scientist, when I tripped down a small flight of stairs into the Reader's Room. I twisted my ankle, and immediately started to pray, refusing to give any power to what my senses were telling me and instead acknowledging God's allness and the inviolability of my spiritual nature.
