LETTERS
Your May 4 issue ["Living a Spirit-based life"] brings great vitality.
Marian English's lead article, "How to 'live in the Spirit'," introduced fresh dimensions to an embarrassingly recent realization for me (such as discovering the world is round)—namely, the need for God-centered thinking. "God, not the problem," she says about her healing of financial straits, "became the basis of every thought and prayer."
Walter Rogers's article, "Love is big enough," offered me a fresh insight, stemming from his interaction on the road with another motorist—with its ultimately universal implications that he brings out. I had not suspected till recently that my outlook on the perceived aggressive habits of other motorists was leading me to a "wearing my guns low" mentality. Whoa!
