GOD'S INFINITE PRESENCE AND POWER

THROUGHOUT HISTORY and right up to today, some people have gone to considerable lengths to prove that the existence of God is a myth. This week's Bible Lesson, titled "God," is an eloquent and powerful example of witnessing to the contrary. Each section of the Lesson is rooted in one of the seven prominent synonyms for God given in the Glossary of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures: Mind, Spirit, Soul, Principle, Life, Truth, Love.
I came away from reading the Lesson with a renewed sense of the infinite scope of God's presence and power, and reassured that God hears—and answers—one's prayers for oneself and for others. Just over half of the Bible verses are from Psalms, praising God and joyfully affirming the manifold ways He provides for His creation.
