A QUIET DETERMINATION

MY EARLIEST RECOLLECTION of Christian Science Sunday School was that I was being given something that needed to be shared with others: that God is good and loves everybody. To me, it was a gift to pass along. So at an early age, I was determined to be a Christian Science practitioner when I grew up.

Little did I know how much growing up there was for me to do!

The lessons I learned in Sunday School set my life on a new course. Finding out that God was my true Parent, my Father-Mother, never absent, never less than perfect, and loving me without measure, filled me with a happiness I'd never known before. I wanted to give to others what I had found. But life got very busy with other things, such as a career and family, until I really committed myself to my goal of being in the healing practice.
