I really enjoyed the article titled "War isn't inevitable" by Walter Rodgers in the October 5 issue ["What really heals?"]. What a clear idea of how to think about this subject! I especially loved his comment: "There is no shortage of spiritual options. God really does wondrous things—not just two or three thousand years ago, but NOW, in our everyday lives" (my capitalization of "now"). A wonderful concept for all of us to consider!

Since I don't have her e-mail address to respond directly to Kelly Michaels for her article, "A lasting impression," in the Sentinel of October 19 ["What's your model for living?"], would you please give her my sincere gratitude?
