QUICK HEALINGS OF A FOOT INJURY AND HAY FEVER

I attended a Christian Science Sunday School from an early age, and have always found Christian Science to be a potent healing power. Throughout my life I've felt free from many of the fears surrounding health issues, as well as the idea of using medicine to cure bodily ills, for which I'm very grateful. Of the many healings I've had, some have occurred very quickly, as in two cases I'd like to share.

When I was in high school, a group of students and I were moving an upright piano weighing approximately 700 pounds from one room to another, when the wheels caught on the floor and the piano started to tip over on its back. I was following behind using the handholds, which helped break the fall somewhat, but could not get out of the way in time, and the upper part of the piano came down on one of my feet. My friends reacted quickly and immediately lifted the piano to its upright position.

Although I was in quite a bit of pain, just as immediately, I began praying with "the scientific statement of being," from Science and Health, which begins,
