SYMPTOMS OF CANCER GONE

I found out about Christian Science in Kazakhstan in 2001 when a friend gave me a copy of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, and I soon became a part of the Christian Science Society there. I now live in the US and travel internationally for work. Because of this, I'm often required to get a physical exam.

About a year ago, months before one of these exams, I began to experience abnormal bleeding between my menstrual cycles. So I called a Christian Science practitioner to pray with me but, admittedly, thought little about this on my own, and the situation persisted.

When I went for my physical, the doctor asked me if I'd been experiencing anything abnormal. Wanting to be honest, I mentioned the bleeding between my periods. He decided to give me a pap smear, and the results concerned him. He said he found atypical cells and gave me a pamphlet on cervical cancer. He told me I needed to have a biopsy in order to determine the next steps for medical treatment.
