LETTERS

Space alone will not permit me to express all my deep gratitude for the healings that I have received only from reading the Sentinel. It first appeared in my mailbox 18 years ago, and it continues to do so.

In 2006 I was facing a very challenging time in my life, from ill health to depression and job loss. The worst of it was a motor accident that resulted in a severe fracture of my left shoulder bone.

At that time of suffering, I was thinking of which book to read as my first aid in order to bring down inflammation, intense pain, discouragement, and depression (in place of medicine). The nearest book to me on the table was the Sentinel of April 17, 2006, with the headline "Hope." As I held this Sentinel and looked at the titles of the articles alone with prayer, just within five minutes the inflammations that first engulfed me disappeared.
