My spiritual tools
Hi, I'm Scott. I live in Scotland, in a small town near Glasgow, with my mum and dad and two brothers, Andrew and lain. I am 11 years old, and I am in Primary VII.
In one of the Kids' Sentinels there was an article by a Navy pilot who talked about a spiritual toolbox. In my Sunday School, we decided to make one. We used a shoebox for this, and I wrote on the lid SPIRITUAL TOOLBOX.
My teacher and I wrote out thoughts from the Bible and from Science and Health on cards and put them in the box. Some of these are, "God is everywhere, and nothing apart from Him is present or has power" (Science and Health, p. 473). And, "Whoso putteth his trust in the Lord shall be safe" (Prov. 29:25). My favorite one is, "Stand porter at the door of thought" (Science and Health, p. 392).
