My eyes were all better

My name is Haley, and I am seven years old. I love to do gymnastics, play outside, and write stories. Right before my last day of kindergarten, my eyes were red. My teacher told my mom that I might have "pinkeye." My eyes needed to get better before I could go back to school.

I didn't want to miss the last day of school, because I knew it would be a lot of fun. My mom and dad prayed, and they told me I could pray, too. I have learned a lot about prayer in my Christian Science Sunday School. My mom and I talked about how God made me perfect. That means nothing could bother me because I was God's reflection, and He is perfect.

Our school was every other day. And my mom and I spent the next day at home praying. When I woke up in the morning of the last day of school, my eyes were just a little pink. I knew I would be OK, so I got ready for school just like I always do. My mom called a Christian Science practitioner to pray with us. By the time I was finished getting dressed, my eyes were all better. I went to school and had a fun day!
