BREATHING DIFFICULTY HEALED

It is with infinite gratitude that I testify as to what follows. First for the privilege of giving thanks, and second because, in spite of the appearances, I was able to maintain the spiritual certainty of my status as a child of God.

Almost two years ago, I felt assailed by a storm whose violence demanded that I mobilize all my strength to remain calm and firm and to demonstrate that Love is my Life, my action, my being (see Acts 17:28 and Science and Health p. 208). It seemed I was no longer able to breathe, lie down, or eat. I found all this to be utterly rediculous, but also cruelly painful.

I thought without ceasing of all that Christian Science teaches us. I have been a student for a long time, and I was very happy to understand and obey this blessed Science that had freed often, and that had therefore already given me proof of its unchangeable efficacy.
