I was so amazed

One day, my grandma and I were walking along the sidewalk. It was toward late afternoon, and it seemed like all the bugs in the world were around us. Suddenly, Grandma yelled out and acted like her arm was really hurt. I hadn't ever seen her that way before, and so I asked her what was wrong. She said she just got stung by a big, flying, greenish-yellow bug.

She took a stinger out, and her arm looked swollen. I could tell it hurt a lot. And I wanted to help her.

I then remembered something my counselor, Caitlin, had told me at camp when I had a bug bite really itched. It was a sentence from Science and Health which said, "All of God's creatures, moving in the harmony of Science, are harmless, useful, indestructible" (p. 514).
