In Your eyes

Who taught me right instead of wrong?
Who showed me where I should belong?

Who was there through thick'n' thin?
Who showed me love when there was sin?

He forgave me when I lied.
He lets me know He's by my side.

When I'm alone and get a fright—
Or in the dark—He is my light.

In others' eyes, I may seem dim,
But perfect is what I am to Him.

"I love You so," I always say,
For I know that He can hear me pray.

It sometimes seems that life is hard.
But trust in Him; He is your God.

He helps us set our life-long goals,
For we're the children of His soul.
