'I trusted God completely'

Some years ago I attended a parent-teacher meeting and, at the end of the meeting, went up with some mothers to speak to a particular teacher. The first person who spoke to the teacher said that her daughter wasn't doing well. The teacher mentioned that she knew someone who helped people through prayer. I overheard the telephone number and wrote it down.

As soon as I got home, I called that person and found out she was a Christian Science practitioner. At the time, it was very fashionable to talk about the Psalms and about angels. I called the practitioner simply to ask what my psalm and my angel were—I didn't have any problems.

The practitioner was very kind, and she suggested I read Psalm 27. She said many beautiful things to me, and added, "If you like, feel free to call me." I liked our conversation very much, so I called back and made an appointment to see her.
