Revolution, revelation
Three reminder thoughts for every day,
Written on my bathroom mirror.
And not vanity, please understand, but prayer:
What am I believing?
What am I seeing?
Am I impressed?
The sun rises, the sun sets... or does it?
Was Joshua really able to stop the sun?
The earth stood still, the Bible says...
Revolution paused...
But revelation was unhindered.
When we stop reacting and ruminating,
Fear diminishes.
When we stop anguishing over the past,
The present is satisfying.
When we stop writing the first chapter,
There is no ongoing volume of wrongs.
And when we stop imagining and start thinking,
Dread disappears.
When dread goes,
Life springs, and Love blooms.
