As we become older; we are often alone a great deal of the time. I have found that my Christian Science periodicals have become dear and near friends who move me with their love and wisdom, and constantly teach and support me in the good news that God and His angels are always near and I am in His care.

Sometimes I have wanted to thank a particular author directly. Recently it came to me to check the list of Christian Science practitioners and teachers in The Christian Science Journal for e-mail addresses. I have already received a kind response to an e-mail, so I can now thank some of my dear and near friends directly.
