Pain and immobility healed overnight

I was introduced to Christian Science by my mother when I was twelve years old. Since that time, I have read Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, from cover to cover several times, and I am grateful to constantly find new spiritual ideas enriching my understanding about God, who is Love. I have had many beautiful healings through prayer, and I am especially grateful for one particular healing that happened in 1995 when my husband was still with me.

One morning, before leaving for my work, I had a dispute with my husband about some household matters, which soon developed into a real fight. I accused him of being unloving, selfish, and unwilling to understand me. I was very angry and decided to just go to my work without talking to him anymore. However, when I wanted to get up from my chair, I found I could not move my body from my waist down. I also felt an excruciating pain.

Seeing my condition, my husband, with the help of our housemaid, carried me to my bed. I could still move only my head and arms. I asked my daughter to call the church where I worked to say that I would be absent, and I also asked her to call a Christian Science practitioner for prayerful treatment.
